Krista & Chris’ Crystal Tea Room wedding took place in Philadelphia early in 2018. We brought our entire photo, video and photo booth crew along for this wedding too. Chris and I have worked together several times in the past when he was the GM at The Moshulu. When he and Krista asked us to document their wedding we were really quite honored because Chris knows and works with a lot of event professionals in Philadelphia but he chose and trusted us with his and Krista’s day. So their wedding took place back in January of 2018. The reason I mention this is because earlier that winter when we did the engagement session I was joking with Chris (who is a big Eagles fan) that their wedding was taking place the day before the NFC championship game and if the Eagles were in the playoffs at that point then they would have some maneuvering to do in order to make it to the game. And in addition to that….if the Eagles were to make it to the Superbowl Krista and Chris would be flying back from their honeymoon during the game! We all laughed at that possibility and were pretty sure that it wouldn’t even be an issue. Well, we all now know how that worked out! So Krista & Chris ended up cutting the last day off their Hawaiian honeymoon so they could return home in time to be with family and friends as they watched the Eagles win their first Super Bowl. Their winter consisted of getting married, going to the Eagles NFC Championship game, a honeymoon in Hawaii followed by a Super Bowl win and then a parade that started just about a block away from their home. All in all a pretty good way to kick off the new year!
