Ashley photographed Hope and Jeff’s gorgeous fall wedding at Parque Ridley Creek. They were blessed with the kind of beautiful October day couples dream of when they plan a fall wedding—sunshine, a little color in the trees, and weather that let everyone enjoy the gardens for both the ceremony and cocktail hour.
They also had the benefit of spending their wedding day in one place, from getting ready inside Hunting Hill Mansion to celebrating with everyone in the ballroom that evening. That’s one of our favorite things about weddings at Parque. Fewer places to get to means fewer moving pieces, and more time to settle in and enjoy the day with the people you brought together.

Hope spent the morning in the mansion’s spacious, well-lit bridal suite, surrounded by her mother, sisters, and bridesmaids. Her mom helped her get dressed and arrange her veil while her sisters and friends got ready alongside her.
The bridal suite at Hunting Hill Mansion is one of our favorites in the Philadelphia area. It has beautiful light, plenty of room, and the character you’d hope for when getting ready for a mansion wedding. There’s space for the people closest to you to be part of the morning, and the room itself makes a beautiful backdrop for those photographs.
Jeff and the guys got ready in another room upstairs. Having both partners in the same building is such a practical advantage. There’s no need to coordinate separate trips from a house and a hotel or build extra travel time into the morning. Everyone can get dressed, spend time together, and already be where they need to be.
We encourage couples to think about that when planning their day. Making things easier gives you a little more room to breathe. You can be present with your family and friends, enjoy what’s happening, and soak it all up. That comfort comes through in the photographs, too. When you feel relaxed, it’s easier for your photographs to feel natural.

Hope and Jeff’s friends and family gathered in the garden for their ceremony, with the stone steps and archway behind them. The trees still had plenty of green, with touches of autumn color coming through in the afternoon sun. It was a beautiful place to get married.
Everyone turned toward Hope as she made her entrance. Surrounded by the people closest to them, she and Jeff exchanged their vows in the garden. When they came back down the aisle together, their huge smiles made it clear just how happy they were to be married and celebrating with everyone there.

The gardens, stone paths, and mansion gave Hope and Jeff a beautiful variety of settings for their portraits, all within a short walk. Their wedding party’s mix of rust, green, and neutral colors looked right at home against the stone walls and October foliage. Orange, peach, and cream flowers brought everything together beautifully.
Having so many lovely places for photographs right on the property is another thing we appreciate about Parque. You can enjoy the gardens and the mansion without needing to take the wedding party somewhere else. There’s already so much to work with, and everyone stays close to the celebration.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour outdoors beside the mansion before sunset. Hope and Jeff really did get a day that let them make the most of Parque’s outdoor spaces.
October weather can certainly have other plans. Liz and Dan’s Parque Ridley Creek wedding brought the ceremony and cocktail hour indoors when rain arrived, and their celebration is a lovely example of how the mansion accommodates a different kind of fall day.
For Hope and Jeff, everyone moved inside for the reception in the wood-paneled ballroom. Colorful flowers decorated the tables beneath that gorgeous ornate ceiling, and their guests gathered around to watch their first dance. Later, friends and family joined them on the dance floor.

From getting ready through the ceremony, portraits, and dancing, Hope and Jeff’s whole day unfolded at Parque. With the mansion and gardens providing everything they needed, there was no travel between venues cutting into their time together. They could spend the day surrounded by family and friends, catching up, sharing hugs, and enjoying the people who had come to celebrate them.
That’s what we want for the couples we work with. A wedding brings together two families and two whole worlds of friends and relationships. Some of those people may not have been in the same room for years. They’ve taken time out of their own lives to be there for you, and having everyone together is a huge part of what makes the day matter.
Giving yourself an easier day leaves more time for all of that. More conversations, more laughter, more time together. It helps you feel comfortable and relaxed, which comes through naturally in your photographs—and gives you the chance to soak up every last drop of the celebration.

Hope and Jeff, thank you for letting us share your beautiful fall wedding here. It was a joy to see the love surrounding you both and the happiness you shared with your family and friends on such a perfect October day.
