Northern Liberties Engagement Session

Melanie and Kevin’s Northern Liberties engagement session took place on a warm but not too hot late summer evening in August.  They are getting married in just over a week on The Moshulu…one of my favorite venues in Philadelphia.  You can’t beat having a wedding on a boat.
So we met in Northern Liberties and just casually walked a few blocks as the sun set.  I love photographing engagement sessions in Philadelphia’s side streets and back alleys.  There is always so much color and texture.  And when the light hits certain areas just right we can come away with some really unique pictures.  Melanie and Kevin were very relaxed and at ease in front of the camera as well.  And we put together a beautiful guest sign-in book made of some of their favorite photos from this session.  They will have that book displayed next week at their reception on The Moshulu.
