Philadelphia Cricket Club Wedding

Meghan & Eric’s Philadelphia Cricket Club wedding took place on a rather winter like spring day. It was April but it felt more like February as a few inches of snow fell throughout the day. This was more than fine with Meghan. She actually wanted snowy wedding photos. Well, we got em for her! When you take a look at the snowy winter portraits later on in this post, keep in mind that Meghan was wearing sandals in the snow. Not only did she not seem to mind the cold, she never even mentioned it once. We were more concerned about her being cold than she was. Meghan & Eric wanted their beautiful snowy wedding photos!

This was our very first time at The Philadelphia Cricket Club and we absolutely LOVED it. What a beautiful location for a Philadelphia wedding. The ballroom is gorgeous and has (to my eyes at least) a 1920s or 30s look and feel. I imagine the old jazz crooners playing to packed houses here years and years ago. The dining room has an entire wall of windows that lets in a ton of beautiful natural light. And there is even a balcony overlooking the dance floor. The cricket fields and the clubhouse make for unique and distinguished backgrounds for photos…even in the snow.

We just had so much fun with Meghan & Eric. Not only did we do the photos for them but we took care of the wedding video as well as the photo booth during the reception. This was the busiest, craziest and most energetic photo booth crowd we had all year and the photos at the bottom of this post are some of our favorite examples of how much fun a photo booth can be for the guests at your wedding reception.
