Documenting our own families is an unending passion. We realize the importance of photographing the milestones as the years go on and children get bigger and older. Those beautiful days with your young toddlers won’t last forever as much as you wished they would. Photographing families at the different stages of their lives is a love of ours because we realize how important it is in our own lives.

There is a canvas print in our home of my wife holding our 5 month old son on a beach in California at sunset that perfectly captures that moment in time. Not just the moment on the beach but the moment of my wife, whom I’ve loved since we were teenagers holding our baby and me realizing that my dream came true that just makes me smile everytime I see it. We aim to photograph these feelings for you and your family as well.

How does it work?
The Consultation
Send us an e-mail or give us a call to schedule your family session. We can help you choose a location, time of day that may work best for your family and the kids and give you ideas of what to wear and what to expect during the session.

We’ve seen it all! Young kids can be unpredictable and that’s OK. It’s what they do. We often times can create the best, most true to life photos by just letting the kids do what they feel like doing. After all, we are striving to photograph your family authentically and naturally. Forcing your kids to sit still for an hour at a time is most likely not in the cards. Embrace it! Let us worry about photographing it all.
GALLERY DELIVERY
About 3-4 weeks after your session we will share your online gallery. This is where you can order prints, canvases, albums or purchase digital image files. Plus you will of course have to share this link with the grandparents!

What good is documenting your family if all you have are files on your computer screen or your phone? We recommend ordering prints (in larger sizes as well) to hang in your home as artwork! If your kids are like ours, they will LOVE paging through your heirloom family albums from your family sessions and oohing and aaaa-hing at the photos through the years.
The Investment
Our on location family sessions are candid and documentary in nature. We photograph how it feels and we don’t force “perfect”. After all, perfect isn’t how your every day really is

Frequently asked
Questions
How far out do we need to schedule?
We can schedule a family session as far out as you would like or we can schedule it in a week. Our flexibility is pretty open during the week. So usually what works for you is most likely good for us!
Can we schedule our session on a weekend?
That depends. During winter we have plenty of weekend availability! Between the months of April - November our weekends are pretty filled up with weddings. Generally weekday evenings are best for scheduling your family session with us.
Do we get all of the digitals?
The full set of digital files is available for purchase from your family gallery. We do offer a $100 credit towards ordering of prints, albums, canvases or digital files. But we strongly encourage you to order actual, physical prints from your family session!
Can we bring our dog?
Of course! Your dog is part of the family. We welcome family pets for family sessions.The one thing that we recommend though, is that you have someone else come along that can take your dog home after about 20 minutes. This way we can focus on just the human members of the family after we get all those good doggie pics in!
What if it rains?
If we have a family session scheduled and that day it looks as though it’s going to rain then we can easily re-schedule. There is no charge to reschedule a session due to rain.
We don’t know where to go. Can you help us?
Of course! We can help you choose a location that would work well for your family photo session. We can even work with you to choose the best time of day for the best light all the while keeping in mind what works best for your family’s schedule.
