Old City Family Photos

Matt and his family had won a door prize of Old City Family Photos at a school charity event in Philadelphia. So they contacted us to schedule their Old City family photos for this past November. It was the perfect time of year for a family photo session in Old City Philadelphia with the leaves changing and the temperatures still mild. We started off at Head House Square before walking the back alleys and cobblestoned streets of Old City that give it the charm it’s known for. Family photo sessions done on location near your home or a local park are some of our favorite type of sessions to photograph. We carve out an afternoon and spend time just walking around a familiar location letting the kids run and play when they need to and (sometimes) bribing them with treats to stay still for a few family photos. But in the end we always come away with some unique and lively family photos that capture a sliver of the life you are living as a family at one particular moment in time. It all goes by so fast. It’s so important to take the time to schedule sessions like these every other year or so. If you haven’t had your family photographed in a couple of years, give us a call.
