A Relaxing Lifestyle Newborn Photo Session in New Jersey

It’s always an honor to be invited back to photograph my previous client’s growing families – and Karen and Keith’s family was no exception to this! Seeing the progression of Karen and Keith’s relationship has been especially special to watch, from the moment I met them during their proposal and all through their wedding, maternity shoot, and now even their lifestyle newborn session. Seeing the couple I had first met a few years ago become parents to their first baby girl has been exciting to experience, and I’m incredibly honored to be the one to capture their lives together. 

Similar to their maternity session, we decided to photograph baby Kali in the family’s New Jersey home to keep the day casual and similar to their day-to-day lives. Karen and Keith had told me they wanted to keep their newborn session true to how they spend every day at home with Kali, and we did just that! We hung out in the living room, while I captured the lovely family’s cuddles and playtime together.
