We first met Laura & Rich soon after they were engaged and had their wedding scheduled for a 2017 date at Congress Hall. That winter Tom and I photographed their engagement session in Manayunk, where Laura & Rich were living at the time. Then of course, we photographed their Congress Hall wedding. A few months ago Laura called to tell me some good and bad news. The bad news was that her father had recently passed away. He was a man that one doesn’t forget easily and I told Laura about my memories of her dad on the wedding day and we laughed together. Then she told me the good news…that she and Rich were expecting their first baby! So we talked about an idea to photograph her maternity session at Congress Hall, where they were married four years before. Laura had some ideas to incorporate their doberman pinscher, Carl into some glam-ternity photos in Congress Hall’s Brown room which we were sure to do as well.
