Laura & Rich’s wedding was actually just this past Saturday in Cape May at Congress Hall. But we are throwing it back to their winter Manayunk Engagement Session today. Now that it’s scorching outside this week, let’s all take a look at Laura in a warm and fuzzy fur wrap as she and Rich sip champagne next to a freezing waterfall in The Wissahickon, shall we? We had such a great time with these two this past weekend on their summer beach wedding in Cape May. And the vibe was the same on this winter day with Laura & Rich. Laura rocked a vintage, old hollywood style look for the engagement photos and she wore it so well and naturally. My favorite part of the day was when Rich popped a bottle of champagne right at one of our cameras and Tom captured a perfectly timed shot which can be seen below. Laura and Rich’s engagement session is a great example of doing it your own way. The came ready to be spontaneous and open to anything during the session. Obviously Laura had planned ahead a bit as she brought champagne and glasses along. But beyond having a location and an idea of wanting to sip champagne sometime during the afternoon she just went with whatever the day had for her and Rich. It was cold and muddy in the park. It was still perfect for an engagement session. Not every engagement shoot has to take place on a cliff side at sunset. Laura & Rich had fun with their session and made it uniquely them. Now just wait until you see the photos from their Cape May wedding this past weekend. Wow!
