Micka & Ben were married in April on a Thursday at Philadelphia’s City hall with a handful of their family there to witness the wedding ceremony. Their Goggle Works Center wedding reception was held a few days later in Reading. Both of these days were firsts for us. Although we had photographed many wedding parties in and around City Hall over the years we had never photographed a wedding AT City Hall before. And we had never photographed a wedding at The Goggle Works Center for the Arts in Reading either. Philadelphia’s City Hall is always an impressive and majestic looking building. Micka & Ben’s civil service was over almost as soon as it started. They just basically needed to stand up before a judge and say publicly that they intended to marry each other. That was pretty much it. Say “I do”, sign the license and file it in the records room and you’re married. The party a few days later at Goggle Works was the one where all of their family and friends came to eat, drink and dance with Micka & Ben and their son Maurice. Thank you Micka & Ben for having us! We loved being a part of both days of your wedding celebration. Thank you for trusting us to capture your memories!
