JG Domestic Wedding | Sophie & Ray

Sophie & Ray’s wedding day brought us to the Garces Group’s JG Domestic at the Cira Center in Philadelphia. JG Domestic is such a cool and unique urban venue for a wedding and since Sophie & Ray are into their food and their city, having their wedding at one of Jose Garces restaurants was kind of fitting for these two. We started off with Sophie as she got ready at her and Ray’s apartment just a few blocks away from the wedding venue. Once the ladies and the guys were dressed it was onto JG Domestic for the wedding ceremony which was beautifully officiated by Sophie’s brother. One of the wonderful aspects of JG Domestic and the Cira Center is it’s proximity (basically connected) to one of our all time favorite buildings in Philadelphia, 30th Street Station.  After Sophie & Ray said their vows and were officially married we took the newlyweds along with the wedding party to the train platforms across the way. It was a bit windy and chilly as this was a late fall wedding so after a few minutes of photos in the cold we finished up the portraits in the grand hall of 30th Street Station. And then it was time to eat and party….which everyone did like true professionals.  It was our pleasure to be a part of your wedding day, Sophie & Ray.  Thank you for trusting us to capture your memories!  All the best for a long and happy marriage.
