Natali & Mark's October Wedding at the Jersey Shore

Natali & Mark’s October wedding at the Jersey Shore was held on a gorgeous fall day in Sea Girt at the world famous Parker House. Their wedding was a bit of a break from the norm for us in that the venue was more of a shore bar than a traditional wedding venue. And we are always down for shaking things up a bit! Any wedding down the shore in October is always a highlight mainly because there is something magical about being at the Jersey Shore in the off season. And in October the weather is still relatively warm and the days are just beautiful. This was definitely the case for Natali & Mark’s wedding day in Sea Girt. Their outdoor sunset ceremony in the courtyard of The Parker House was beautiful, warm but with a coming chill in the air as the sun started to set. They had a close friend perform their wedding ceremony and as you would expect he kept it very personal and very funny…but still sentimental. The cocktail hour was held basically all over Parker House. Clams were served on the patio with passed drinks and hors d’oeuvres while guests could grab cocktails at one of the three bars open on different floors of historic Sea Girt bar and restaurant. And then came the reception! They call the basement of Parker House “God’s Basement” for reasons I think you need to experience to completely understand. But to be sure, this is a place that has seen A LOT of parties over the past 150 years. So Natali, Mark and their friends added their wedding reception to the long list of legendary nights to take place here in God’s basement. Let’s just say that the ceilings were low, the music was loud, the dance floor was crowded and the party was over the top! Thank you for allowing us to share in such a fun day with you guys.
