Westwynd Gardens Wedding | Naomi & Caleb

There is something truly special and joyful about a beautiful spring wedding in Pennsylvania! Naomi and Caleb’s special day took place in late April at Chester County’s newest wedding venue, Westywynd Gardens. Located in Honeybrook, PA, this springtime wedding was the definition of a perfect, joyful, family-oriented wedding, which is everything Naomi and Caleb could have hoped for. 

For this stunning spring wedding, we kept everything rather casual and approached the documentation of the day as capturing it exactly as it was presented in front of us, which wasn’t hard to do when the beautiful couple was extremely welcoming and relaxed. Naomi and Caleb first saw each other on the wedding day during their unique indoor first look. Naomi elegantly descended from the second floor of the Westwynd Gardens wedding venue to meet Caleb in the grand foyer, as the bride-to-be’s parents looked on to the beautiful, intimate moment unfolding in front of them. Tears were definitely shed between both the soon-to-be newlywed couple, as well as Naomi’s parents, as the moment was quite emotional, which marked a wonderful start to the perfect spring day.

We got extremely lucky with a perfect spring afternoon, which gave us optimal, elegant natural light for Naomi and Caleb’s portraits after their first look. Their families and wedding party soon joined us outdoors, filled with smiles and laughter, keeping the flow of the day moving with ease and excitement. Throughout the spring wedding day, I just kept thinking to myself that this is the type of wedding that reminds me exactly why I chose to do this as a career. Truly, nothing beats a beautiful day paired with a wonderful couple who surround themselves with loving and joyous family and friends. The vibe all day was just one filled with love, luckiness, and pure joy, and it was definitely electric as you could feel it radiating from every person you interacted with!

Naomi and Caleb opted for their ceremony to be held nearby at Brick Lane Community Church, making for an incredibly intimate and memorable wedding ceremony. The couple was surrounded in their church by the congregation that clearly knew and admired them very well, and it felt special to witness and document such a loving ceremony in person. Caleb’s dad even partook in the ceremony, as he sang during the wedding service, which was just another key detail of the day that marked how family-oriented Naomi and Caleb truly are! One of my favorite subtle details from throughout the whole wedding day was the little pink tree bud accents that were present throughout the windows of the church and were later seen at the reception as an accent on the wedding cake. Another special, unique thing that definitely stood out to everyone was that Naomi and Caleb wrote individual letters to each one of their wedding guests that were used as escort cards and table identifiers at the reception. Upon entering the Westwynd Gardens reception area, guests were greeted with a handwritten letter that was a very personal touch that made everyone feel welcomed and incorporated into the big wedding day in a loving and individualistic way!

Westwynd Gardens was really the perfect wedding venue for Naomi and Caleb’s special day. Not only was it close to the couple’s home and church, but the venue also greatly represented all of the things that were important to them. The venue’s grounds reflected the beauty of the land they grew up on, in which the rolling farmland of Chester County, Pennsylvania, was just incredibly fitting for the newlyweds. Westwynd Gardens itself is simply an INCREDIBLE venue. At one point, my second photographer and the DJ turned to each other and said, “They really thought of everything here!” Everything was just so well put together, from the venue space to the indoor/outdoor cocktail hour, and even the impressive landscaping of the grounds for wedding portraits! It was just so refreshing to be in a space that seemed to have been built to host relaxed and inviting celebrations. There was no hustle and bustle present, nor was it overly country or barn-vibe; it was a perfect blend of modern and open with a countryside feel. 

Naomi and Caleb wanted a wedding that felt true to who they are, and the spring day spent in the countryside was definitely the final puzzle piece in crafting the most special and loving wedding day. Congratulations Naomi & Caleb. We were honored that you invited us to share in such a memorable day for your family.
