You’ll Absolutely Love this Light Filled Fairthorne Cottage Bridal Suite

Taylor & Lex just celebrated the first anniversary of their Willow Creek Winery wedding yesterday. Coincidentally, we were back in Cape May for a wedding this past weekend as well. But Taylor & Lex’s wedding from last September was just incredible. The locations couldn’t have been more perfect. The weather was idilic and the couple……come on…..just too perfect. Taylor and her girls got ready for the day at Taylor’s dad’s bed & Breakfast in Cape May, The Fairthorne Cottage. It was probably the most beautiful and perfectly lit room for bridal preparations that we have ever seen. Diffused, natural light just washed over the entire enclosed porch area when Taylor was getting into her wedding dress. The preparations before the ceremony are some of our favorite moments to photograph candidly. There is always some much anticipation and nervous energy going on and it just makes for wonderful moments to photograph.

After everyone was dressed and ready Taylor and her dad rode to the quaintest, most intimate little wooden church in Cape May for the ceremony. We then stopped in the vineyard at Willow Creek for some photos before heading to the beach as the sun was getting low for the couple’s portraits. These pictures on the beach are both romantic and over the top goofy….Just like Taylor and Lex. To say that we were kind of a perfect match for each other would be an understatement. The type of photos that we love to shoot and the style and energy that Taylor & Lex were looking for in their photos just couldn’t have matched up any better. There are several images of these two in the post that are simultaneously or favorite photo from the day and from all of 2016. I really could go on and on about how much I adored working this wedding and for this couple. But I am staring to gush about it already so I will just shut up and let the pictures do the rest of the talking. Taylor & Lex, thank you. You guys are friends now and I hope we can see each other often. Happy 1st anniversary. All the best for a wonderful and long marriage!
