Nicole & Alexander’s summer wedding at The Lake House Inn in Perkasie was a long time coming. Not because Alexander was dragging his feet in proposing to Nicole or anything like that, that one might think. It’s because of you guessed it, COVID. They were originally scheduled to have their wedding in June of 2021 but with so many re-scheduled weddings from the year before and all of the unkowns still surrounding weddings and events that summer they decided to postpone their wedding an entire year. Well, that’s mostly true. Nicole & Alexander were “officially” married in 2021 at the beach in Avalon in front of just close family and friends at a ceremony that Nicole’s father officiated. And later that summer Nicole’s sister, Hannah married Austin at Normandy Farms in Blue Bell. So this all worked out in the end, particularly for Nicole’s family that had two weddings in back to back years instead of the original plan to host both Nicole & Hannah’s weddings in almost back to back months! 

We are always happy to be working along the lake at The Lake House Inn and Nicole & Alexander’s day was yet another epic event at this beautiful Bucks County wedding venue. Our photo and video teams started early on with Nicole & Alexander so we could capture all of the anticipatory energy as the wedding party got prepped and ready for the day. We were able to capture Nicole’s first look with her father as well as Alexander’s mom helping him pin his boutonnière. Capturing moments like these between family members at the onset of the wedding day are why chose to offer full day coverage with all of our wedding packages. This way we are able to let our couples relax and enjoy the day they planned while knowing that we are there for anything they need us for. At this point we have spent three weddings with Nicole’s family and for each of the ceremonies on these three days, Nicole’s father officiated the weddings for his daughters. He always gives an emotional and obviously very personal homily. It’s a joy to photograph as he elicits so much emotion from the couple as well as all of his family in attendance.  And of course we fell so incredibly welcomed into the fold. Wedding planner, Darby Norris from Seeds of Celebration was also back again for Nicole’s wedding after planning a tremendous wedding for Hannah the year prior. And it is always a joy to work alongside Darby. Onto the reception! Hannah & Austin’s wedding reception was a banger and we knew what we were getting into for Nicole & Alexander’s wedding reception. Naturally it did not disappoint! The dance floor was jammed and sweaty and it didn’t let up until the final song of the night. We love the photos and video that we were able to create for Nicole & Alexander and we are so excited to share them on our website. All our best you guys. We’ve got a couple more of yoru siblings to marry off and we hope to be with you all again!
