Beautiful Engagement Photos at Parque Ridley Creek

Rachel and Garrison had the most beautiful fall engagement photos at one of my favorite places – Parque Ridley Creek. Parque Ridley Creek is the wedding venue located within Ridley Creek Park in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. The whole estate is absolutely breathtaking and feels a lot like a hidden gem, despite it being a popular wedding venue. Ridley Creek Park itself is filled with immense natural beauty, and is a great spot filled with open fields, long walkways and a mixture of shade and beautiful light. So between the park itself, and the wedding grounds, there is so much variety for engagement photos. Between the incredible stone mansion with its patio and stone steps, the grassy field and wooded areas nearby, the iconic reflecting pool, and the beautiful English gardens, there’s never a lack of stunning backdrops (and plus it’s just a beautiful place to explore and decompress!)  

I always say that engagement sessions are the perfect time for everyone to relax and for the couple to just really get to know their photographer before the big wedding day. The session usually functions as just a casual walk around whichever location we choose while we capture natural portraits. Rachel and Garrison’s engagement session was no exception to relaxing and taking advantage of the beautiful grounds. We started their engagement session about 90 minutes before the sunset of the evening, which is usually my recommended standard for any engagement session! Rachel and Garrison wanted to start their Parque Ridley Creek engagement photo session off a bit more dressed up as we explored the wedding grounds and took photos near the stone mansion, before switching into more cozier and casual clothing as they ventured off into the open fields and grass-filled areas for sunset photos. 

I am so excited for Rachel and Garrison to get married next fall at one of our favorite wedding venues, Appleford Estate, located in Villanova, Pennsylvania!
