Caroline photographed Lindsay and Brady’s Cairnwood wedding on a late spring day in June. The day began with preparations at Lindsay’s childhood home in Wayne while Brady and the groomsmen got dressed at the historic Wayne Hotel in Wayne, PA. Caroline schedule thr bride and groom’s first look at The Willows Park. It was such a beautiful setting for the wedding day first look and portraits of Lindsay & Brady before the wedding party met up with the bride and groom. After wedding party photos and some family formals it was off to the ceremony. Luckily everyone made it to Wayne Presbyterian Church before the rain started! Lindsay & Brady exchanged heartfelt vows in front of their closest family and friends and then the party moved onto the stately Cairnwood Estate where guests were greeted with champagne and hors d’oeuvres as Caroline took Lindsay & Brady around the property for a few more photos before they joined their guests at the cocktail hour. The couple’s first dance followed their introduction from the grand staircase into the main parlor of Cairnwood. This is always such a unique moment as all of the guests stand in the room surrounding the bride and groom as they dance together just in front of the fireplace. It’s much different than a first dance that takes place in a ballroom with guests seated at their tables. At Cairnwood all of your guests are basically surrounding you just a few feet away as you share you first dance as husband and wife. After dinner under the tented back patio the evening was capped of course with dancing in the library. It was a beautiful afternoon and a memorable evening for Lindsay, Brady and their families. Caroline and Ashley did a fantastic job photographing the entire day and we are excited to be sharing some of our favorite images. Congratulations again Lindsay & Brady.
