Kate & Scott’s Romantic Fall Seaside Beach Wedding

Kate & Scott’s romantic fall beachside wedding took place at one of our favorite spots in the area, Cape May Point. Their wedding day in the fall at Willow Creek Winery was just about as perfect as could be with the mild weather and practically empty beaches and streets of Cape May Point in the off season. I personally love going to the New Jersey shore towns after the rush of the summer season. It always feels like you have the place to yourself in the calm of the after party in a way. Plus the weather is usually pretty perfect in October down the shore. Kate & Scott got ready in two separate locations and once Scott was dressed for the day he made his way over to the house in Cape May where Kate was putting on the finishing touches. We set-up their first look to take place on the porch of the house and it was very emotional moving. There were of course, laughs as well. Next we had some time for their wedding day portraits so we hopped on the trolley and headed to the beach in Cape May Point where (as I said) we basically had the place to ourselves. We took some candid and fun wedding photos on the beach and walked the streets of Cape May Point a bit before Kate & Scott shared their private vows to each other alone. This is when things got very emotional and we had to break out the tissues for everyone. Next up they met the wedding party at St, Agnes Church and said their “I dos” in front of a collection of their closest family & friends. After the receiving line in front of the church everyone made their way down the street to cocktail hour at Willow Creek Winery. We spent some more time with the wedding party and the bride and groom in the vineyard taking advantage of the gorgeous sunset light. Once the reception started and Kate & Scott were introduced to their guests for the first time as husband & wife the party was officially started. If you’ve every been to a wedding reception at Willow Creek Winery then you know what a great space their tasting room is for throwing a big, loud dance party. Kate & Scott’s family & friends did not disappoint in this department! The dancing was out of this world and we were right there besides everyone taking it all in and capturing every last second of the night for Kate & Scott. You guys, it was a pleasure sharing such a fun day with you all. Thank you for trusting us to capture everything all day long for you.
