Lauren & Chris New Jersey winery wedding at Willow Creek Winery in Cape May from last spring was a fun and upbeat celebration that was a true reflexion of the couple’s personalities. From the first meeting we had with Lauren & Chris months before their wedding we could tell that we all would be a good fit. They were very open, quick witted and easy to joke around with. They had a definite vision for their beachy vineyard wedding but they were not the type to take themselves too seriously. They were perfect for us! Willow Creek Winery is one of our favorite wedding venues in Cape May. We are fortunate enough to be asked to photograph weddings at this beautiful Cape May wedding venue several times each year. The bridal suite room just off the mansion is spacious for even the largest of wedding parties and bridesmaids can have hair & makeup come on location without having to get crammed into a corner. Plus there is a kitchen, a fridge and a full bathroom! What else could a wedding party need? Crystal of Shore Thing Event Services was onsite to handle all of the details and make sure that Lauren and her girls had anything that they needed that morning as they prepped for the day. Chris and the guys got ready at a beach rental just short drive away from Willow Creek. Once Chris and the guys were dressed, they headed out to the winery for the first look between Lauren & Chris. We set this up under a tree lined path just next to the vines. Chris, I think, maybe even got just a tad emotional when he saw his soon to be bride. We took photos around the property and the wedding party joined us soon after. There were more than one seagull poop incidences involving the groomsmen (thankfully the ladies were spared from the air bird bombs). Once we took care of that unpleasantness it was time for the ceremony which took place on the lawn in front of the plantation house. They had a traditional jewish wedding ceremony and once Chris broke the glass it was off to the cocktail hour in the tasting room. There were drinks, hors d’oeuvres and even smores kits for the wedding guest to enjoy! Lauren & Chris wedding reception kicked off with their first dance followed by toast and a hora before dinner was served. And then it was dancing as the sunset and on into the night with entertainment by Silver Sound. Lauren & Chris, we loved the day that we spent with you and your families at Willow Creek Winery on yoru wedding day. Thank you so much for trusting us to capture all of the memories for you.
