Melanie & Aman’s Elegant Philadelphia Wedding at Tendenza by Cescaphe

Melanie and Aman’s elegant fall wedding at Cescaphe’s Tendenza was a day filled with beautiful details, intimate moments, and a dance party you could never forget! This stunning fall wedding was actually the second wedding celebration for the couple, as they had recently held a small, intimate wedding in Great Britain, where Aman is originally from. Getting to celebrate the most important day of their lives twice definitely made their whole experience even more special, and it meant double the fun!

The beautiful November day in Philadelphia started with Aman getting ready in his and Melanie’s home, while Melanie spent her morning getting ready at The Logan Hotel along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The Logan was an ideal getting-ready spot for this Philadelphia bride, as it was only a short walk to the iconic Rodin Museum, where Melanie and Aman were to have their private first look with one another. The Rodin made the most beautiful backdrop for such a memorable moment, and it wasn’t too long after their first look that their beloved dog joined us for a few “family” photos! We continued to explore the iconic Rodin Museum’s grounds, capturing some beautifully elegant wedding day portraits, before Melanie and Aman’s family arrived on the Cescaphe Trolley to join us for family formals. We then headed into Center City Philadelphia to photograph the beautiful couple on Broad Street, in front of the iconic City Hall. And before we knew it, it was time to hop back onto the Cescpahe Trolley and make our journey to the beautiful Tendenza venue for the ceremony!

The intimate, candlelit wedding ceremony was incredible to witness. The ceremony was officiated by Melanie’s brother-in-law, which made it even more special and personal. Guests looked on in absolute awe as Melanie and Aman exchanged vows. Melanie and Aman, of course, had their first kiss as husband and wife before proceeding down the aisle and sneaking off to have an intimate, private mini-celebration between the two of them.

Cescaphe’s cocktail hours are iconic and known throughout the city as having an insane amount of delicious food stationed around the room for guests to enjoy. Melanie and Aman really upped their cocktail hour experience, as they had a two-piece jazz ensemble performing live music as guests mingled before heading into Tendenza’s stunning ballroom.

After a raucous entrance by the newlyweds, Melanie and Aman immediately kicked off their Cescaphe wedding reception in the Tendenza ballroom with their incredibly romantic first dance. It wasn’t long at all after the first dance concluded, that the dance floor opened up for all guests to join and show off their best dance moves. 

Before dinner was served, wedding guests were able to enjoy some heartfelt toasts from the newlywed’s siblings and the emotional parent dances. There was a beautiful feeling that lingered within the air of Cescaphe’s Tendenza venue, and it was just vasts amounts of warmth and coziness. The elegant November wedding day felt like the perfect late fall urban wedding vibe.

EBE Talent’s London band truly kept the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long! Following dinner, Aman changed into a traditional Indian wedding suit, while Melanie changed into her reception mini-dress and sneakers. Despite slipping into a more comfortable dress, Melanie still maintained all of her bridal vibes while getting to dance and jump around as freely as she wanted to. The happy couple was surrounded by their friends and family on the dance floor for the remainder of the fall wedding night. Everyone wanted to be close to them and really help them celebrate the most memorable evening of their lives. Some of their friends even had paper masks made of Aman’s face and were wearing them around the Cescaphe reception, and even had a dance party of all of the multiple Aman’s! This fall, the Philadelphia wedding day at Tendenza had some of the most fun, energetic, life of the party people that I’ve had the luxury of photographing. It was a tremendous wedding day in the city for Melanie and Aman, and we are so grateful for our team to share in the celebration with them! Congratulations, Melanie and Aman!
