Katie & Nick’s Inn at Villanova Wedding

Katie & Nick’s autumn Inn at Villanova wedding took place on a picture perfect November day just outside of Philadelphia. The Inn at Villanova served as the backdrop for wedding day preparations and all of the bride & groom and wedding party photos before we drove down the street just a bit to the campus of Villanova University for Katie & Nick’s ceremony at St. Thomas of Villanova church. This is one of the most stunning churches in the entire Philadelphia area and we have been fortunate enough to be invited to photograph many wedding ceremonies here. Katie & Nick had one of the best church exits on the front steps of St. Thomas as well. They had every last person that attended their ceremony gather on the steps to greet and cheer for them as they exited the church for the first time as husband and wife. As guest were invited back to the wedding reception at The Inn at Villanova they were greeted with a warm evening for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres under the glow of bistro lights on the stone patio. Slippery band started the music and everyone was escorted into the ballroom followed shortly by the wedding party and finally Katie & Nick as they kicked the reception into full swing with their first dance. Dinner followed several tear jerking toasts and then it was time for the party to really get going! Slippery Band had the dance floor packed and Katie & Nick were even invited up to lead the band for a couple of songs. What a fun night! We were honored to be asked to share in your day Katie & Nick.
